The Mindset

Perfection is a trap. It paralyzes action, fuels doubt, and forces us to wait for a flawless moment that never comes. True growth is messy and stubborn, built on the willingness to show up, make mistakes, and adjust along the way. When you choose progress over perfection, you give yourself permission to start and trade the illusion of being flawless for the reality of getting better. Choose better. Just keep moving.

The Design

Visual Concept

The Emblem layout connects each mindset to one of our three core brand pillars: Growth, Respect, or Common Ground. Together, these three visual systems form the foundation of the Mindset collection, using custom line art to turn abstract values into tangible iconography. The design centers on a dedicated pillar emblem, paired with an interior neck print of Progress Over Perfection as a personal reminder before it is worn outwardly.

Layout & Execution
  • Pillar Motif (Growth): Anchored by a geometric mountain peak, the rising lines and elevated crest symbolize steady upward progression, self-mastery, and the continuous effort required to reach new heights.
  • Structural Line Placement: A deliberate horizontal line spans the upper section of the emblem, acting as a ceiling or threshold that the mountain peak breaks upward through—visually representing growth, pushing past boundaries, and surpassing personal limits.
  • Logo Anchor: The Choose Better tagline locks into the composition, tying the graphic back to our core commitment.
  • Interior Detail: A standard layout on the neck label mirrors the message internally, grounding the main aesthetic with consistent branding.
Aesthetic Intent

Minimalist line art combined with spacious typographic framing gives this piece an outdoors-inspired, technical aesthetic that feels grounded, intentional, and focused on momentum.

Progress Over Perfection

The Story Behind The Mindset

Theme: Personal Growth

Perfectionism is often disguised as a virtue, but more often than not, it is simply fear in a polished coat. It convinces us to delay starting, to keep ideas hidden, or to abandon momentum the second something falls short of an impossible standard. It treats mistakes as failures rather than the very friction required to grow.

Progress Over Perfection is a deliberate refusal to let the ideal paralyze the actual. Growth doesn't require flawless execution; it requires the courage to show up, do the work, adapt, and keep moving. When you strip away the pressure to be perfect, you create space to actually become better.

Shifting your focus toward meaningful momentum comes down to three practical shifts:

  • Valuing Velocity: Choosing action and real-world feedback over endless planning and hesitation.
  • Reframing Stumbles: Treating mistakes as data points for learning rather than reasons to quit.
  • Sustaining Effort: Recognizing that steady, imperfect consistency will always beat sporadic, ideal performance.

This Mindset is built to serve as a daily reminder to release the burden of unrealistic expectations and take the next step forward, no matter how small. Focus on showing up, staying consistent, and letting the work speak for itself.

Choose better. Keep moving forward.
